Roundtables

“There is no question about it. AMR has changed me, my business and my life. Dave always says 'You don't know what you don't know!' and I discovered how to do better. You taught me how to build a company, operate it and enjoy the results. Where would I be without AMR? Probably still satisfied with a lot less.”  Joe Romanelli, President — Romanelli Inc. — Clinton, New York

Management Roundtables

A Management Roundtable is where owners of small- and medium-sized marketing communication companies come to learn and discuss their most important challenges. Our focus is on best business practices in building and operating a better company.

A Management Roundtable is like no other meeting you have attended. Here are 17 benefits you will receive when attending.

All roundtables are comprised of non-competing participants from all parts of the marketing communications industry—B2C and B2B ad agencies, graphic design, media, interactive and public relations firms.

We do not attempt to teach you how to create better advertising, build a better website or how to put together a public relations program. Our primary goal is helping you with your company structure, staffing, operating systems and financial success.

Each session is two full days of meetings with your peers in a managed discussion about how to operate your company for maximum profit. We've always said that we help companies move up to the next level. That means we can help you grow bigger and/or grow your financial portfolio for a robust retirement. It is your goal. We help you get there.

Most of our clients come from secondary or suburban markets. Yes, we have clients in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Boston, Seattle, St. Louis, and Atlanta, and we have helped them grow and prosper too. The majority of AMR agencies are from small cities from Washington to Florida and Maine to California and everything in between. Eighty percent of them have fewer than twenty employees.

Roundtable attendance is limited to ten agencies, and no more than 2 principals from any one agency. We do this to keep the communication open and give everyone a chance to discuss agenda topics and to get to know one another.

Safe & Open Harbor. AMR Roundtables are structured for peer discussion of specific common challenges and as a forum for an open exchange of experience, ideas and solutions. Only one agency from any specific market will be registered for an AMR Roundtable.

No Membership Fee. You don't pay to belong to Agency Management Roundtable. You just join the group by attending one of the Management Roundtables.

AMR Network Groups. If you decide that you want to continue meeting with other agency owners on a semi-annual basis,  you can join an AMR network. An annual network fee is assessed for two semi-annual meetings and on-going consultation. As a network group member, you receive special pricing on all Management Roundtables, Workshops, Publications and on-site consultation engagements.
